Na het succes van de Gaastra Grand Slam is het bijna tijd voor de
Tjeukemeerrace.
Op 5 of 6 juni zal als de wind het toelaat zins jaren weer de oeroude
Tjeukemeerrace weer gevaren worden. Bij het strand van Rohel.

De Tjeukemeerrace is een marathon van 1 a 3 uren!! We zullen in twee
klassen varen: siverfleet en goldfleet

De silverfleet zal 1-2 rondjes Tjeukemeer varen.
De goldfleet zal 2-6 rondjes Tjeukemeer varen.

Er zal een upwind (zo klein mogelijk) en zoveel mogelijk halve en downwind
gevaren worden. Rondjes om boeien en eilanden. Doel Slalomboards in het
voordeel!!

De materiaal keuze is gedeeltelijk vrij: Formula's boards mogen alleen de
zeilmaat is voor iedereen max. 10.0 m2

Windlimiet Planeerbaar voor de meesten en 8,5 en groter. (ongeveer +10
knopen)

Inschrijving: 10.30 - 11.30
Inschrijfgeld: € 10,- jeugd € 7,50
skippersmeeting: 11.30
start: 12.00

"Last week I sent you all positive News. I was happy with my first result of the season, and looking forward to all the upcoming events around Europe and an exciting trip with Chico and Edvan from the Windjeri Team. Well things changed!

Beginning of this week I checked together with my doctor if I am fully fit. All the different tests gave a totally unexpected result. I have cancer.

Luckily the cancer I have is the best one to heal so I will be back in shape to 99% but it takes a while. I will face a operation end of this week and a chemo therapy after that.

I can't imagine yet how it will be to sit in the hospital during summer reading all the news from around the world :-(

After I am 100% fit again I will surly invest all my power to get back better next year! Also I will invest some time during endless hours in the hospital to hopefully get a new movie project started!"

We all know Andre's a proven fighter and possesses both physical and mental strength beyond belief but let's send him all our positive energy anyway. The force is with you Andre.

I have succesfully updated the firmware today, still need to test it @ the water coming week.
